Lao Kong's Birthday Celebration - Part 2 Only Both Us

Now, it's the real big day for my Lao Kong !!! It's his birthday real day liao - 07/09/2009 !!!

Early in the morning, we are still in Seremban house, as usual, made him his favourite morning drink - a cup of hot ' gau gau ' Milo to make up his day, then turn him into a handsome goodlooking guy with a white new shirt.

Before he wakes up from the bed, I already put his birthday gift and the birthday card on the bed, next to him, where once he turns his back to the side I slept, he will see this.



Surprise !!!! Definitely it's a surprise because the night before his birthday, before we slept, I tested him by telling him that I didn't buy any gift for him this year and ask for his wish list, like what he wants and what he wish to get. My Lao Kong, as usual, " tim yan no need bun ", he asked me for a budget, I said approximately RM 500, he told me that all the gifts that he wants, I can't buy him with this little budget, My God !!! See, this is my hubby !!! He wants a Plasma 42" TV, all the things that he wants is more than RM 1,000. Really a high maintenance husband !!!!

Ok, then I asked him to guess what have I bought him. He is clever enough, once he touched the gift, his first answer is correct liao. But I told him it's wrong ! Coz his guess is like this : " Oh My God ! Don't tell me you are buying me an electronic shaver !!! " With this kind of guessing, of course my answer is NO !!! And my heart became so cold ! Shit ! Another wrong decision made ??????? What lah ! It sounded like this is the most un-expected and most in-wanted gift for him. At the end, what to do, no choice, I bought it liao, he got to accept it loh !!! Sorry lah, dear for giving you something you really don't want !

Okay, after breakfast at Seremban and settled something with his family members, we start our birthday celebration journey from Seremban. First destination, ( this was not within my plan ) as it was suggested by mu hubby, to go to Port Dickson to look for Ah Tin for lunch with Ling Ling and Jun Jun. I didn't take a picture for the lunch, it's at a well known PD seaside Seafood Restaurant. We ordered sharksfin, pork, fruit juice and etc. Today it's also first time I used my new Platinum credit card. Ha !!!!

Then, we left PD at about 2.30pm and go to Sepang Gold Coast Beach Resort. A newly build resort and we pretended that we are interested to buy the resort there, as my Lao Kong said, we being Datuk and Datin for a day !!! Hahhahahahaha......................... My Lao Kong's performance is really good neh, he really take it seriously and asked a lot of questions, we even went to the site to see the show units. Nice !

Just that both us are too busy to be Datuk and Datin at that time, also forgot to take any picture of the resort. Hhahahahahahahhaa.................

Finally, after spending 2 hours plus at the resort, we start our journey to Putrajaya for the birthday dinner. I made a reservation at Putrajaya newest hotel - 5-star Pullman Resort for a western dinner celebration.

In general, only the view is good, restaurant is nice, food wise, first and the last time loh ! Won't come back for food anymore.

This is what I ordered, Cajun Chicken, strongly recommended by the Restaurant Captain. Looks good, presentation is good. but the taste, suck !!!! I can't even finished 10% of the food. Just simply paid for the view and atmosphere only.

This is my hubby's birthday dinner, Fish. He is good, he don't waste food one, he finished everything. It's worth that my hubby likes the place, to pay for that kind of price, just to earn his smile, it's worth for everything liao. Coz my hubby's happiness is my only intention mah !

Nice ya, the evening view ! I almost booked the restaurant exclusively for my Lao Kong on that evening, coz we reached there at 7pm, and till 8.30pm, after we almost finished our dinner, we were the only customer for the restaurant. And for the whole night, only 3 tables. The crowd is really slow.

All in all, it's a very nice birthday celebartion. Simple, no gimmick, no special surprises, except for the special designed birthday cake, everything just so simple and normal, but both us are very happy.

Lao Kong, next year, we will be celebrating your birthday and my birthday with our cute cute little baby girl loh !!!! Happy Happy Happy Birthday to you !!!!

Lao Kong's Birthday Celebration - Part 1 Family

07/09/2009, it's my beloved Lao Kong's birthday ! This year, very special, due to co-incidence, my Lao Kong's birthday falls on a public holiday for Selangor state, so both of us no need to work, it's a Monday. But also due to some unforseen circumstances, we need to go back to Seremban house to settle some family issue, so eventhough it's a holiday, but I also can't plan anything for only both of us.

However, for so many years of birthdays for my hubby, it's his first time where so many of his family members celebrated for him. I see him happy, I also felt so happy.


See, my hubby with his face cake, he is so simple, so simple, a simple happy guy !!!

These are my hubby's family and relatives who celebrated for him that night, at a Chinese Restaurant, we ordered set dinner with sharkfin, good meal, good atmosphere, good cake to celebrate birthday for a good person !!! A total of 14 persons in a big round table for his birthday celebration.

The right hand lady, is his " Ipoh Ku Ku " ( aunt ), the couple on the left is Ah Mou and Ah Pak loh.

We, and the only 3 grandchildren in the family, the eldest one is Ping Ping, the middle one in blue shirt is Xuan Xuan and the only girl is Xin Yee. The forth grandchildren of the family is coming soon, in my stomach !!!

See, his smile, so contented, so happy, so simple. A simple guy with simple satisfaction. But not at all time.................... ahahahahahhahaha.............................

The special cake and us !!!

First, when I took out this cake, everyone on the table were so curious and excited, none of them saw this kind of cake before, something new and special to them. My mother in law said : " Ah Fai's wife always like to do something special one ! " hahhahahahha................... what to do ? My only intention is to get my hubby a smile only mah !!! What else ?

When my Lao Kong saw this cake, he himself also felt so happy and surprise !!! He also never received this kind of cake before, first time in his life. He of course love this cake, thank God ! Otherwise, wasted my effort and money ! For only a " Wow ! How come my face is on the cake one ??? " It worths for everything and anything liao ! Dear, hope you really like it !!!

So, on 06/07/2009 night, one night before his actual birthday, we celebrated his birthday with all his family and relatives, so I called this as Lao Kong's Birthday Celebration - Part 1 !!!!

Oh ya, of course, we have Part 2 loh, coming soon ! Part 1 - with family, Part 2 ? Of course only two of us only loh ................................... oh no, with our little baby as well, so 2 1/2 ................ hahahahahhhahhah..........................

Very Fatherly Character - I Like It

After breakfast, my hubby brought Vjinn to the main entrance of the restaurant, sat on the chairs, and start playing the bubble that my hubby bought for her.



See, both them were so concentrated on the bubble shape ..........................



He taught Vjinn how to blow the bubble, very fatherly character ya !!!! Hmmmm............... I love to see him like this ................ love children, play with kids, I can imagine next time after our little baby girl was born, he will even love her very much !!! Good daddy !!!

People says, when a man is concentrating in doing his job or something, at that time, he is the most attractive man in the world ! See, this is the most attractive man in my world !!! Lao Kong, I love you ! ( On behalf of our little princess ) : Daddy, I love you too !!!!

My 2009 Birthday Gift - Super Band Concert 2009

Year 2009, another remarkable year for me and my hubby !!! Hhahahaa ................... especially for me only lah in fact. It's because my hubby gave me a good birthday gift - Super Band Malaysia Concert tickets !!! Wow !!!

The artists of course includes my beloved singer - Wakin Chow Wakin !!! Hahahhahaha, and another 3 singers - Zhang Zhen Yu, Lee Zhong Shen and Luo Da You !!!

Wow, this is really a very very fun and exciting night where my hubby is kind enough and generous enough to allow me and my little baby girl to go for concert eventhough I am already 6 months plus pregnant. Hhahahahahha.................... thanks, my Lao Kong for being so nice to me !!!

That night, we bought a total of 10 tickets, dickson and venice, myself and my hubby, sweetbee and CK, Lian Fung plus another 3 friends of dickson. 10 of us, with the superb view of the seat, we all enjoyed the concert very very much ! Even my little princess girl also enjoyed it very much and become so exited and active after that night ! Keep kicking me which seems like telling me that : " Mummy, I want more music !!!! " Hhahahhahahah.....................


See, the photo behind me and my beloved Lao Kong, are the 4 singers who performed that evening. Majority of the fans who attended the concert was 30 - 50 years old, and many of them came in a family group where parents came with their children for the concert together, somemore most of them ( including us ) are here just because of Wakin Chow Wakin !!!!




We took the picture before the concert starts ..................... on the spot, 988 has the ' Hoi Sam Che Dui " to give out free gifts and play games with the public. But I didn't get any gifts from them, coz by the time we reached there, already quite late.



This is the first concert which Lian Fung attended, we 3 sisters ( Da Jie, me and Ah Tin ) shared bought the ticket for him. Our seat is right in the middle of the stage, superb view !!!! The ticket that we bought is second cheapest but we bought it very early, so can choose for very nice view seat.

In fact, inside the concert hall, it's not allowed to take any photo, my beloved Lao Kong, being the " Bravo Gan Shi Dui ", he took some pictures for us to remember the event ! Good job done, Lao Kong !!!

Finally, I really got to thank my hubby for being so nice and generous to buy me this birthday gift to make it a memorable night for us. This is the second time I went for Wakin's concert with my hubby, the first one was waking himself, not really good, reason being is the songs that Wakin presented in the concert are all non-popular songs which we don't know how to sing, but for this, it's 101% guaranteed a not-to-be-missed event for the year !!! Thanks, Lao Kong !!!! Muak muak !!!!

Bak Kut Teh At My House

16.07.2009, this is the first time I cooked " Bak Kut Teh " for my parent and only brother.

I invited my papa, mama and Lian Fung to my house for a " Bak Kut Teh " dinner, with my beloved Lao Kong. For Lao Kong, of course, I cooked once Bak Kut Teh for him liao before, this is the second time for him, with more ingredients.......................



See, this is the ' end product ', after more than 8 hours boiled in the slow cooker, from morning when I left my house for work till I came home in the evening, whatever put in the slow cooker, already soft and even meat also ' melted ' a bit, due to long time cooking. But in fact, it tastes good, just that my hubby complaint that there are no meat foound in the pot, although I bought a lot of meat, but due to long time cooked and boiled, everything melted. My parent and brother also said it tastes excellent !!!!



Some other side dishes which I prepared to eat with the Bak Kut Teh soup. Hmmmmmm ......................... yummy, yummy !!!!

Fun But Tiring Weekend With Kids

On 11.07.2009, my eldest sister is not free, so she has no choice but to send her children to my house to take care on her behalf.

This is the first experience that me and my hubby have with two small kids overnight at our house. My hubby only conclusion : " God ! It's even tiring to take care of kids than doing any other things ...................... " Hahahahhahahaha.................................. He mentioned this statement after taking care of the two little one for approximately 20 hours. ha hahahaha, now only you know, dear !!!

It's a good experience and learning process for my hubby who has never really take care and live with kids all this while, I am glad that he loves kids very much and I am happy that he picked up something on that meaningful but tiring weekend. I truely believe that my hubby will be a good daddy soon in future for our little first baby girl. Because when you see him playing with kids, his fatherly character are all appears clearly and he really enjoyed playing with them, although it's tiring. Dear beloved Lao Kong, a " HURRAY and BRAVO " for you !!!!




Don't say us as adults, even kids so energetic also tired like this, what about two of us ???? Of course lah, in less than 20 hours, we brought them to about 7 playgrounds and parks to burn their energy, sure they are so tired lah !!!!





See, how sweet both them sleeping, really sweet !!! And, on the sofa itself, my hubby also sleeping, coz he is also very very tired liao. Me, the pregnant mummy-to-be, of course very tired too, but no choice, still got houseworks need to do, so can't take a rest loh.......................

However, it's a very very good practical session and experience for both of us for that weekend, thanks to my eldest sister - Venice for trusting us by letting their kids to be with us for that weekend. Cheers to all !!!!

Pulau Ketam One Day Trip

7th June 2009, Sunday, we, the whole family, 15 of us + Bee Chik + Ah Koh's couple went to Pulau Ketam to celebrate Papa's 2009 birthday.

We gave him an option, to go for luxury dinner at Restaurant or for a day trip across the sea to change a good luck and bring home some good luck ? His choice is this - Pulau Ketam Trip.


This is the lovely couple, the second daughter of Mr Lim Tai Keng and Madam Kiew Si.

My two younger sisters - Ah Tin and Ah Bee ! One just got married and one have already 2 kids ................ which one you think got 2 kids ?

My Bee Chik, a very good uncle, purposely came from Singapore and joined us to Pulau Ketam for a day trip cum a Treasure Hunt at Pulau Ketam. He enjoyed the trip very much ! It's waste that his wife - Ah Abao is not joining us for this trip. But recently, his health is getting worst, really wish that he could recover faster and stay healthy all the time !!!!

My three sisters - which one is the eldest one ???? Who is the most prettier one ?????? I leave it to you all if you think the most prettier one is not in the picture, coz she is writing the blog mah ...................... hahahhhahahahaha............................

Like father like son, really father and son !!!! Again, it's birthday celebration for my dad and he is wearing red again, his son too, always wearing red for all celebration occassions......................

Happy family !!!! I wish I could also be like them, have a boy and a girl in the family, then it's happy enough !

You might find it's rare that I have photo with my hubby on this trip, because that morning, we were quarrel, not happy. Hhahahahahhaahha............... so didn't talk to each other ................ but after the treasure hunt in Pulau Ketam, we are okay back ! It's normal lah, to have small quarrels in our life, as long as it's not too often and not too bad the situation is, it's ok one. Anyway, to have only laughters in life is impossible, must add in a little bit of heart breaks, tears only can tell : " Sour, Sweet, Bitter and Spicy ". But of course I hope to have more more more and much more sweet than the rest in my life and in my relationship with my hubby loh !!!!

See, my usual hubby, in his usual habit, reading newspaper, no matter where and when. Even in the boat, so hot, so noisy, he can also take his own sweet time to read the newspaper.

I secretly went to his back, ask CK to take a photo for me with him as I see all my sisters also taking photos non-stop with their families and hubbies, only me, no one entertain me, so I went to his back without his notice, and take one photo loh, at least one loh.

You might noticed we really took a lot of photos in the boat / ferry, coz the waiting time and journey is too long, it took about 2 hours for us to travel from Klang Jetty to Pulau Ketam, due to we have went to a wrong boat where it goes for a tour to the Fishing Factory first before we reached Pulau Ketam and the waiting time for the boat to depart, due to a delay of a big tour group, so it delayed the departure. So, we took photos by killing time loh !!!! Afterall, nothing much to do mah !!!!

Too free, really nothing much to do, somemore my hubby also didn't talked to me, so I put on Sunblock on my face loh !!! Ugly leh !!!! I don't mind, it's me mah !!!!

Lovely and good father-to-be. My Lao Kong and the " Little Bak Kut Teh " really got ' yuan ' one, my hubby really loves him very much. Since last weekend, Dexter and Vjinn came to our house to stay overnight with us for one night, we both also missed him very very much !!!! He is really cute !!!! We brought both Dexter and Vjinn to 6 Playgrounds to play over the 2 days. They were so tired but happy !!!

Happy Birthday to you ! Happy Birthday to you ! Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Papa !!! This is the Birthday Cake that we bought from KL and brought to Pulau Ketam. Try to imagine, from morning, travel by car, boat, waiting for them to finish their treasure hunt games, walks so many miles to look for them, got to take care of the 4 kids somemore, and got to carry this cake here and there, to everywhere that we go. It's really difficult, must enjoy and finished it. However, nice cake ya !!!
